The Studio

Known for multidisciplinary, textured compositions and unexpected material palettes, the full-service interior design studio embraces a balance of technical and artful techniques to create award-winning residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. 

Our approach begins with establishing architectural significance. We identify how a space can be manipulated, in order for its impact to be maximized. Each site becomes a foundation for expressive furnishings, personalized through the prism of clients’ unique views. 

The studio takes its cues from theater and film, fashion and art, nature and the industrial world, all grounded in a collective cultural literacy. Sensibilities established from global design experience hone through a local lens, for every project to own a discernable site-specificity—environments that are unrepeatable and irreplaceable.

Benjamin Stelly

Principal / creative director

Benjamin Stelly is an award-winning interior designer based in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in Austin, he lived in New York City for 15 years before relocating to establish his eponymous design practice in his hometown. Benjamin’s perspective merges an education at the University of Texas School of Architecture with an active photography practice, anchored in a prior career in fashion and editorial production—styling and building sets for Vogue, GQ, Interview Magazine, and more. These discipline-spanning expertises root Benjamin’s approach to design, and lend a unique archival knowledge base to his perspective. Benjamin runs his studio with empathy, balancing expansive creativity with the precision of design intelligence.
